Who are you? Where are your roots?
My Name is Nycole. I'm the oldest of seven children. Yep. Seven. I learned at a young age how to handle multiple projects at once. The obsessive compulsive disorder came later.

What were you like in High School?
I was so ready to be out of there! I went through the typical stages that all teenagers go through: trying to find myself, rebelling against anyone that told me I was wrong, and ultimately making a few mistakes. I participated in the Drama Club and was always crafty. I just liked to stay busy. But popular I was not. Happy

What would you consider your muse?
I'm still figuring this one out.

What is your favorite medium, and why?
PAPER! A fresh sheet of paper holds endless potential. I've always liked school supplies-it was my favorite thing to shop for at back-to-school time. (Even more than clothes!) Give me paper and I'm content for hours.

Tell me about your artwork, what kind of style are you?
I make a variety of scrapbooks to help capture a moment in time. I love looking back at photos and reading stories and my books help keep these memories alive. My style varies depending on the product, but I like neat, clean lines and a variety of colors.

Who do you think your top market is?
I've found that women, typically aged 17-50 are a great market. They often have children that they want to show off, or friends and family members. But these little books have been known to make it into men's offices, grandpa's nightstand, or in a high school locker. They're great for everyone!

Who is your most favorite and least favorite celebrity?
Hmm, I really like Oprah. She's done so many fabulous things and has such a great story. I don't have a specific celebrity that I dislike-but anyone that is greedy or let their celebrity status go to their head loses me as a fan.

Do you listen to music while you create? If so, which, and who is your favorite?
Sometimes. Often it's my two-year old's kid music in the background (Wheels on the Bus, etc.) But when I get to choose it really depends on my moods. I really like Renee Olstead lately. She has a very soothing voice and she's so young!

Other than creating art - what is your favorite hobby?
I love to clean and organize. (It's my OCD) Give me a filthy, cluttered house and an empty garbage can and I'm thrilled. Just hope I don't throw away something important. I've been known to do that.

What do you believe is essential for an etsy seller?
Dedication and patience. You really get back what you put into it. You can't list a few things and then disappear and hope to succeed. It takes lots of time, work and patience!

Thanks for your time Nycole, I wish you many more sales in the future, keep on creating these awesome little moment catchers, and we'll all continue to have awesome moments Happy

As Always -
Peace & Monkey Love,
Abbie
