Who are you? Where are your roots?
My name is Heidi Urbanski- maiden name Borgel. I spent most of my childhood in St. Louis, MO

What were you like in High School?
I was a punk rocker wanna be in High School. I was the first one to sport a "tail." That only lasted about a year- thank god. I hung out with the stoners and metal heads, but was able to flit around and hang with most everyone. I was on the honor roll and into Drama. Not Drama in my life, the thespian kind of Drama. Used to wake up every morning to Iron Maiden "If you're gonna a die, die with your boots on..." Drove my Mom nuts.

What do you consider your muse?
My muse are the gardian angels I hope we all have.

What is your favorite medium, and why?
My favorite medium is stained glass. When my Mom was alive she made very very cool stained glass windows and jewelrey. She would make custom windows, garden ornaments, broaches and earrings. She passed away when I was 26. That sucked. I totally ignored the whold creative thing for a long time (I'm 38.) Then my family moved to State College- met a cool bus stop mom who is well known in the community for making Jewelrey and she suggested we try it. I knew the basics from watching my Mom do it, so we tried it. I sucked at it at first- made the most godawful ugly flowers you ever saw. Then I put together an angel- the rest as they say is history.

Tell me about your artwork, what is your style?
My artwork is taking pieces of broken glass that no one wants and piecing them together to make my version of Angels. Then I just do it. And then I give them a little bling- all of them have bead necklaces.
I just started making pendants using stained glass principles. Trying new stuff is good.

Who is your top market?
I think my top market are those who are hippy chic spiritual. Or hippy dude spiritual. EveryBody needs an Angel.

Who is your most and least favorite celebrity?
My favorite Celebs are the trashy ones- the ones who get sloppy drunk and do stupid things- makes for fascinating TV. My least fav are the ones who are on that new reality TV show Armed and Dangerous. I won't even watch that.

Do you listen to music while you create? If so, which or who is your favorite?
I listen to satelite radio when I work- Lucy or Ethel

Other than creating art, what is your favorite hobby?
Other favorite hobby is raising my kids.
