My art is online & for sale!

After years of inactivity (as far as web stuff is concerned) I've finally configured my art website. You can check it out at art.originalabbie.com. Almost all my artwork is displayed, sold & unsold. I paint with acrylics - and I'll usually paint anything I can get my hands on, furniture, home decor - I've been known to paint murals on my wall when I'm out of other things to paint! My style is tough to pin down - I'd say folky,hippy,modern,bold & fun - most of all, it's unique to me! It's available for sale online now too, in addition to being available at some non-chain stores - and of course, through me. You can find my online store - here at AbbieRoad.Etsy.com. I take custom orders, it takes a bit of extra time to fulfill custom orders - depending on the project, anywhere from a week to four weeks.
Artist's Statement - a little about me -

I'm a flower child of the 60's born twenty years too late, I'm lead by my heart and my creativity - it just so happens the two work wonderfully together. I've traveled many different journeys in my relatively short life (I'm 24), each time following my heart, and I don't regret any of them because they made me the quirky, creative, laid back girl I am today. I've been doing some form of art all my life - mainly painting anything I can get my hands on!

I'm a stay at home mom to Cornelius (Neil), born February 2, 2006. I'm married to my soulmate, Sean, we've been together for almost 7 years. Sean & Neil are big parts of my inspiration for my projects. When I'm not working on my art (or nursing & changing diapers!) you'll find me playing music. I play Classical cello & Celtic fiddle and come from an extremely musical and artistic family....paint and music must run in our veins!
